Stuart Foster
J.D., Attorney

Stuart Foster is an attorney with Boesen & Snow Law. Prior to joining Boesen & Snow, Stuart worked as an associate attorney and was a partner with boutique law firms in Colorado with a focus on all facets of a client’s business lifecycles and needs. Stuart has worked with clients on business formation, corporate structuring, corporate governance, contract preparation and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, purchase and sale of business assets, and general business and employee compliance. Stuart has assisted clients in the entire life cycle of their business and uses a hands-on approach to ensure clients can meet their business goals while also limiting potential business loss, risks, and legal exposure.

Stuart has extensive litigation and appellate experience in both state and federal court involving individuals and their businesses as well as other commercial matters, including a published opinion by the Colorado Court of Appeals that created new law for the purposes of determining whether a spouse is a creditor for purposes of the Colorado Uniform Fraudulent Transfers Act.

Stuart’s practice also focuses on working with and guiding clients through government compliance, relations, regulatory, and administrative matters to obtain necessary approvals and licenses.

Stuart can also assist with matters involving commercial and residential real estate. Stuart’s knowledge in these areas aids clients with all their real estate needs, including preparation, negotiation, assignment, and enforcement of leases, land use and zoning approvals, and other real estate development needs. This, in turn, helps to ensure clients are properly advised on how to buy, sell, manage, and develop real estate for their specific needs as well as manage commercial tenants.

Outside of work Stuart enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter as well as their two dogs, and he loves running and bicycle riding.
