Patrick Carpenter
Pharm.D., J.D., Attorney

Patrick Carpenter is an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial executive and attorney with a strong record of sales, clinical, operations, regulatory compliance, and legal successes. As a registered pharmacist with a compounding background, Patrick uses his experience to be a business partner to clients. In law, Patrick strives to simplify complex topics to aid clients in understanding, compliance, and a path to yes. Patrick believes business clients don’t need a lawyer to tell them no, something can’t be done, but rather a collaborator who understands processes and goals and can work with a client to achieve the client’s underlying objective in a legal, compliant, and low-risk manner. With individual clients, Patrick is known for being compassionate and direct.

Before joining Boesen & Snow Law, Patrick served as an attorney at the AmLaw 100 firm Baker Hostetler in Washington, DC, on their FDA and Pharmacy team. Prior to legal practice, Patrick was Regional Director of Operations for Option Care Health, responsible for numerous pharmacies and nurse practitioner-led infusion suites across 5 states. Earlier in his career, Patrick had the opportunity to build a 503A compounding pharmacy from the ground up, a seminal experience that shaped his views on business, regulatory compliance, and the law. Among other varied earlier experiences, Patrick served as a faculty member at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, in their Drug Regulatory Affairs program.

Patrick was born and raised in New York, and although he now lives in Washington, DC, he will always consider Boston home, having spent 18 years there after his undergraduate education. Patrick has been married for 15+ years and enjoys spending time with his spouse and their dog. Patrick enjoys travel and plays the piano as a hobby.
